Happy Mondayyyyy! I woke up to a comment from a reader in the Netherlands saying she's wanted to move to NYC her whole life and now she's dying to move to Venice/LA after seeing me here for a year ☺️ Love that I get to share my new hometown with readers from all over the world 🌎 Head to the blog to see the 10 coffee shops in LA you'll most likely find me at during the week! ☕️ #ootd#WLFKtravelAPP#ontheblog
Test run of my new pressed flower pendants! They are incased in plastic INSIDE the resin to hopefully prevent fading, translucency, and bleeding. I now know I need to trim off more of the excess plastic around the flowers because it’s a little more visible then I intended it to be. But overall, I am very pleased with the results! These are going make killer spring/summer statement pieces! 🌿🌸🌷

This video shares my process of making the legs for my coffee table build. I start at the lumber rack. For legs I pick the straightest grain on the board. I don't want the legs competing with anything else. I like the look of the boring, straight grain. Next I get the pieces to as close to their final size before moving on to jointing and then planing them. The design of the legs have a taper from top to bottom so I pull out the tapering jig to get consistent tapers. The final design aspect of the legs is the round over on the back side. I routed that at the router table, slowly raising the bit to reduce tearout and to give me a clean cut. Next I clean up the round over with a spokeshave and then sandpaper. #firstname.lastname@example.org@sawstopsaws
