After a rough 3 weeks of injury/fever/cold/Birthday/rest days, I am finally ready to kick some ass for the rest of this year.
I am very comfortable with where my intake is at and I am going to start a mini cut for my trip. Once we get back, it’s 2018 GAME TIME #ROADTOPRO 😈💪🏼
As much as I am enjoying living and loving life, I have my goals front and center and I’m ready to SLAY TF out of them. 😈💪🏼
Two completely different looks this year and both I’m 100% happy in.
I LOVE being and looking lean... but it is exhausting to maintain and just not healthy.
I also LOVE how I look in my offseason, finally. I’m fuller, stronger, healthier, and I have WAY more energy.
It is a roller coaster of a sport and not to mention, emotions. Learning actual balance and loving myself in ALL the stages has been the best part of this season. ❤️🙌🏼🙏🏼

I have taken 4 days off from the gym. 😳 Before, this would have given me the MOST anxiety.
Currently, I feel refreshed, rested, leaner, and in a much better spot mentally.
This is how I know my off season has been more than successful. Not only is my physique in a good spot, but mentally I am very happy with how I see food, my training, and taking time to rest.

Since my lower back injury, ya girl has been ALLLLLL about the shoulders. And they seem to be taking on shape that I’m pretty proud of.
Today, I was able to do shoulders/triceps/back without any discomfort! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 It has been EXTREMELY difficult for me and for my mentality to take a step back and allow my body to heal properly.
Being as competitive as I am, I always want to be the BEST, the STRONGEST, and the HARDEST working; I’ve had to shift my thinking quite a bit and know that I can still work hard and be successful without pushing myself to the extreme.
Learning self love, confidence, and strength in ALLL seasons.
Starting a journey towards the bodybuilding stage for self confidence is not something I would ever recommend.
You need to LOVE the shit out of who you are now and in every moment and enough that if someone says you aren’t good enough, that you know their opinion doesn’t even matter.

Reminiscing on this 2017 package and I already know next season is going to be AMAZING. .
Working with a lower back injury 😩🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I have been focusing a lot on my delts and creating a rounder, fuller look.
Unfortunately, I am avoiding any heavy weights and doing mainly body/ LOW weight for my lower half.
High volume, lower weight can help me get to the same goal without the same risk of injury.
Thanksgiving arms and shoulder work out. 💪🏼🔥
I am so thankful for not only fitness and my health, but to have the knowledge to be fit, strong, and healthy in a long term and sustainable way.

The reason I don't focus on scale weight.
My best look, also is the look where I weigh the most (stage weight).
From 125lbs > 118lbs > 130-131lbs.
2013 > 2015 > 2017.
Bikini is a division of BODYBUILDING. Requiring the body to be built. Muscle to be had and to be grown.
This takes time.
More than a 3-6 month off season.
Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder, more specifically a bikini athlete, but no body wants to put in the time to do it right and be successful. 🤷🏻♀️
I made a change when I was 21 and progressed to where I am today (almost 28). I still have quite a ways to go and I am 100% willing to put the time in to do so correctly.
