Respond out of faith not fear. In the days leading up to Christmas, I like to remind myself of the reason for the season. Fear tells me that I'll fail even before I take the jump. Faith tells me He'll catch me every time and never let me fall. Fear magnifies the turmoil in my circumstances. Faith gives me peace despite the roaring of my circumstances. Fear tells me He's forsaken me in His silence. Faith tells me His whisper is far more reassuring than the thunderous beating of my fear. Faith reminds me that He came to give me peace, peace within us, peace, the greatest gift anyone could give. What does peace mean to you ?
But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life -John 4:14
And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is his name. His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors.” Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then returned home.
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.”

You may feel like something that you have done is unforgivable, but that’s not the case with God. If we simply ask forgiveness and mean it in our heart, God will forgive us. He won’t question you or judge you on the spot, He will simply forgive you and forget it. God bless. #verseoftheday
When we admit our failures to Him, He hears us. And when He hears us we are drawn closer to Him. And when we draw closer to Him we realize how much He loves us. So much that instead of condemning us for our mistakes and failures He forgives us and helps us to see His will, His way and His righteousness. When that happens, we want to please Him by being obedient to His word and faithful to come to Him for everything we need. Thank you Lord for your love and forgiveness. But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. Galatians 4:4-5 #NIVBible#NIV#VOTD#VerseOfTheDay
