The Pendlay row is by far one of my favorite movements for back thickness. Which also happens to be a great accessory movement for the deadlift and bench.
⬇️Proper/ effective execution ⬇️
SET-UP: Start with the bar over your mid-foot, feet about shoulder width, your hips hinged to the point where your torso is parallel to the floor in a neutral position, grip slightly outside of shoulder width with palms facing you [over-hand].
Note: Lack of Hip mobility/ hamstring flexibility might effect if you can bring your torso to parallel. .
EXECUTION: Before initiating the lift take a big breath and engage your core and lock the t-spine in place then proceed to drive your elbows to the ceiling, keep them slightly tucked and in line with your wrists.
Drive the bar until touches rightbelow the chest then lower the weight until dead stop and REPEAT with minimum to no momentum.
If you need to lower the weight to execute them properly please do so they will be more effective and you'll get a better bang for your buck.

Really good leg and core workout today, hitting a new deadlift PB of 150kg for 5. Here’s a snapshot from a kettlebell L-sit set, @slimguy.fitness has inspired me to really work on this aspect of my training and I’m really enjoying the change up in more core workouts!
I thought I was ready for the cold weather but apparently once you leave the UP your body doesn't acclimate to winter temps at all and you're freezing all the time and have to wear a jacket at work😣. Just kidding... idk if that's a thing but I swear it's happening to me.
No idea where I'm going with this post but man is it coooolllddd today☃️. So here's an oldie of me nice and warm at the sunset because this is my daydream🤘🌞
