Everyday you should be mentally placing yourself in different situations and thinking how you would react. This is a form of mental exercise that should not be overlooked.
If you prepare your subconscious for highly stressful situations, you can create harmony with your fears.
Here is one of the undersized, up and coming guards in the NBA. He makes up for the hight with his explosiveness, strength and skill. Understand that yes hight in basketball is a "physical ability" but the undersized players will use this as motivation and really hit the weight room to excel at other aspects of the game such as skills, strength, speed, power ect. Spend energy controlling the controllables be a force to be reckon with on the court. #strength#power#speed#vericalleap#basketball#tnation#strengthtraining#sports#bball#basketball#wights
Good session again tonight at the club, here are the seniors on the way back from sprint training doing their piggy backs. The juniors do the same 💪🏼 It breaks the training up as in boxing there is so much to cover, it aids them all working together to they push each other and knowing that your mates are behind you gives you that bit more to fight for. #barumboxingclub#barumboxing#fitness#strength#englandboxing#sportscoach#coaching#boxing
We had some awesome results on our last 8 week challenge of the year. Michale who took out the win worked really hard in every class and its paid off. Michale lost a whopping 6.3kg and 5.3% body fat.
Our male runner up Michael lost a huge 4.8% of body fat and smashed the playoffs.
Team training. Life changing
As we quickly approach the end of 2017, I of course look back at all the things that have happened this year and I have to say, this yr was probably one of the most challenging years emotionally and mentally. Between losing my sweet little boy, losing my job, the shootings, natural disasters and everything else in between has truly put me to the test. I could've easily reverted back to my old ways and shut everything else out just because it was easier than dealing with everything head on. It astonishes me how quickly our minds revert back to the negative..these days it's just easier to say "oh well. It is what it is" What happened to all our drive to stand up for what we want and need in life no matter what??? Even through all this darkness and with a little encouragement from my friends and family, I still have managed to see the light shine through. Despite losing a job I loved I have finally found my true calling, helping the ones who need it the most. Just knowing all the hard work I've still put in so far will soon be paid if it one of the best feelings! I'm happy to announce in 2018 I'll be starting my own health coaching practice. My plan is to show all of you in the world how truly beautiful you are inside and out!!! I know it's not the new year yet but who needs an excuse to better oneself just because we are starting over on the calendar!
