Can you do too many exercises per muscle group in a single session? The answer is absolutely! It all goes back to your total session volume. The more exercises you do for a particular muscle group, the more total reps, sets and weight (volume) you subject that muscle to. 
As your total volume increases, the associated fatigue levels also rise. Now, some fatigue is ok and needed to drive the adaptation process, but too much fatigue and performance can suffer. As fatigue increases, the recovery time needed, also increases. This can ultimately eat into your subsequent training sessions if fatigue and hence the needed recovery time, is too great. 
More exercises for a given muscle group can be great for adding extra volume, but too many exercises and it is likely that you are just going to be building up extra fatigue without additional growth benefits. 
Like everything in your program, the number of exercises you undertake in a given session needs to be carefully adjusted to accommodate your goals, progress, current training state and rate of recovery.

Exercise has always been a part of my life but my downfall was always my diet. As soon as I replaced the sugary snacks and take aways for lean meats, fruit and veg I simply watched that fat fall off!
