You guys! I’m so excited for Friday 🤗 I haven’t done a workshop in a while and I’m so happy to have found such a beautiful space to hold it in 🦋
Can’t wait to meet all you Bay Area loves!
Sign up is in my bio and story to come play 🙌🏽 Thanks @aubrymarie for inspiring me to practice more reclined hanumanasana 🧡
I find Mondays to be an especially good day to get motivated.
Not only for the rest of the week ahead, but- in this case- for the rest of the year & whats coming up in 2018, as well.
Today, I enjoyed the yummiest rainy day ever.
Started the morning with the best brekkie on the island at @shaka_cafes.
Followed by a smokin’ hot, yet soothing, 3-hour practice at home.
After mongo bean soup from my favorite sari sari, I snuggled up in bed to watch The Good Lie (for the second time) with a background soundtrack of rain.
This is something that would typically have put me right to sleep if the movie hadn’t been so damn good, instead.
Everything from the sound of their voices, to the incredible captures of those African skies- my heart was fluttering nonstop with excitement at the thought of being back in the Motherland in just 6 weeks.
It feels like going home on so many levels.
To have the honor of implementing @go_light_our_world’s fourth annual round of projects alongside my partner in crime & photographer extraordinaire @mondaynomads is going to be the best possible way to kick off the new year.
And I can’t fucking wait, in case you can’t already tell.
Here’s to all the Mondays that ignite that spark.
The ones that give you butterflies of stoke, rather than dread.
This is me wishing YOU the most luminous start of your week.
Shine on babes 🌟☀️💛 #GLOWyogafam

|| p o s t p a r t u m h a i r l o s s || is no fun at all! As I am quite familiar, after having two babies. So many hormones fluctuating and hair can sadly be the first to go. I truly swear by r o s e m a r y for hair loss, it has saved me so many times I now keep a full bottle in my shower. c l a r y s a g e is so powerful for balancing hormones, it’s great to incorporate it into your routine any way you can. g e r a n i u m and l a v e n d e r are always recommended for hair health, for dry hair, oily hair, and hair loss as well.
Add these to your shampoo or conditioner, or choose a couple to keep in your shower and add 3-5 drops each time you condition. Then leave to set on your hair for a couple minutes before rinsing. I bet you will notice the difference!
[WE DID IT]
144 GIFTS!!!!!!!!!! I am still missing some!
My yogis at Ryman Health Care saw my reaction when I realised that we collected more than 100. I cried 🙈😭 Someone said to me that I am a good person for doing this and I think we all are. Because I can't do it by myself! I had the idea but if no one helps the idea melts away.
I used to do this every year in Chile and since moving here I got too busy with my life and building myself that I forgot the incredible feeling of creating joy for the innocent ones.
Thank you for your amazing support for dropping off gifts, for helping me do the wrapping and for the support messages!
We did this together!
We still have two days to go! How amazing is that?
Thank you! 🙏 I am glad you can't see my crying here! 😂

Obsessed with doorway stretches. Late night class planning got me thinking about this juicy backbend.
Come practice with me tomorrow at 5pm @flexyogabarre and see what I’ve got cooking up. 👀❤️ Getting melty and bendy in my fav @aloyoga outfit. Rose water is lyfe.
Recent purchase of a entry level Swiss automatic watch. I wanted a minimalist design, light and thin which I could wear everyday. Open heart window lets you peek into the inner mechanics in which I was mesmerized and got lost in the movement. Beautiful starter watch into the world of automatics.
I blinked... and it was December.
Where does the time go?
Did I accomplish everything?
Was I happy?
These are things I ask myself every. single. day.
I’m 22 and i already think about how I will blink and I will be 50. Every year seems to get faster and faster
If I had to name to this fear, Id call it “time anxiety” the fear of time flying. Because we can all admit that TIME FLIES
How can I be present?
How can I make the most out of this life?
I try not to get stuck in a robotic mode, just completing daily tasks, working, and then worrying about the next stressor. I think we all do it. It always seems like activities of daily living win and start taking over my life.
When do I stop to smell the roses?
Watch the stars fall from the sky?
Sit there and watch the sun set?
See the birds fly across the sky?
Getting lost dancing and singing our favorite song?
My mind is running 24/7. When does it stop?
I think I don’t have “time” for those things.
BUT oh Yes. I. Do.
Those little things are what brings you into the present.
They bring you joy.
Being in the present is our GREATEST gift.
We tend to sit there waiting for the next best thing, or wait for big extravagant moments. time will fly when we think that way. Life is a collective experience of mini moments where we have to choice to be happy and be fully present. I’m still learning how to do that.
Is that what people mean by being “mindful, enlightened, awakened?” I’ve had glimpses of being present, but I truthfully don’t know what those words mean. but what I do know... is that we have to learn to love the boring days and cherish the little things like watching the sunset or being in nature. It’s like a life reset button to bring us peace within ourselves.
It’s our job to take us back to here and now. Rest your mind, take a breath and come back 🧡

“Always maintain an open heart—as far as I can see the moment you shut your heart off to another human being is the moment you fail as a teacher. To the best of your ability, keep your heart open to whoever is in the room when you teach. This includes the people you like, the people you don’t know and even the people you really don’t like. They are all objects of your compassion.” #openheart#compassionfirst#keeplearing#talkslower#listenharder
Started celebrating Max’s bday today (it’s tomorrow!) since his twin brothers’ bday is today ❤️ We went to the most authentic Cuban restaurant in Miami, but the only vegan things we could get there were rice, beans, plantains, and steamed veggies 😂 But sooo delicious 🤤 .
Happy early bday Max! 👗 @aloyoga 📸 @acrohulk back in Gainesville 🙏

In #life (and that includes #yoga) it is all too easy to get caught up in the “P” word: perfection. Spoiler alert: there is no such thing as perfection. As long as we give right thought, right effort, and right action, without harming ourselves or others, everything else will fall into place. For example, in my seven years of practicing yoga, my heels have yet to touch the ground in #adhomukhasvanasana . I only recently became able to straighten my legs (and this is only on a good day.) But I keep practicing, not with the end goal of #perfection (see above) but because with practice comes wisdom: of body, mind, and soul.
My wish for you this holiday season is an abundance of delightful and open-hearted presence (a different kind of present that you can give to yourself.) Let go of the mirage of perfection and open your heart to the magic that awaits when you do.
