No matter how many times we see this classic @hobartandbeyond view, we never tire of it! @faith.shotz was up before daybreak, braving the crisp Autumn breeze, to capture first light on the summit of kunanyi/Mount Wellington. This 1,271-metre-high mountain overlooks our capital city and much of Tassie's south-east, forming an integral part of the Hobart skyline. Part of the 18,250-hectare Wellington Park Reserve, Mount Wellington is a popular destination for those looking to explore Tassie's south, be it a road-trip to the top, mountainbiking, hiking or a family picnic at one of the many smaller reserves on its flanks. And as we head into our winter months, the promise of snow makes a daytrip even more enticing! Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Faith!
• Kunanyi / Mount Wellington ⛰• Named the 49th highest mountain in Tasmania this bad boy puts our Mount Lofty to shame back in Adelaide sitting at 1,271 (4,170ft).
The views up here were insanely breath taking, unfortunately all the photos we took just didn’t do it justice! So you’re stuck with another one of me looking out and taking in the view 💁🏼😍 #kunanyi#mountwellington#day4#tasmania#hobart#viewfromthetop#wellsyandbenzodotasmania
