@rajputana_forever#maadawa#badoraganv#moriya#jaisalmer#rajasthan#marriage#wedding#Change#bethechange
Guess what! Today’s my birthday! 🎉
The best present I could ever get from all of you would be if you could just keep respectfully educating your family, friends, and coworkers about the facts about declawing and how that barbaric toe bone amputations procedure always harms the long-term health and wellbeing of a cat or kitten. ❤️
Please sign up on my mailing list to get important updates about our cause.
If you want to help us continue working full time to save kitties from this cat cruelty please pick one of my awesome hardcover photo books. It’s only $14.99 and it’s getting great reviews and kids love it too! There are other ways to help support our work fighting this good fight on my website. Www.citythekitty.com/shop
Thank you and please remember to always take the high road! I love all of you! 😽❤️ #fightthegoodfight#makeadifference#bethechange#pawsneedclaws#cat#goodcause
“For people who have decided to hate you, you can’t do anything right. You will never please these people so don’t try. All people who have ever achieved anything great had people who hated them. Keep doing what you are doing, you don’t have to impress everyone, just as long as you are doing what is right for your soul. Wish them well because if they have hate in their hearts, this hate will destroy them. I am happy because I am living my purpose. Nobody is teaching me how to do what I’m doing, I’m learning as I go. Creating your own path is necessary when you want to make change. This new path you’re creating hasn’t been walked before, so of course people are going to say you’re doing something wrong. If I paid attention to what everyone said, I’d get nothing done. Especially to the people that haven’t done it, aren’t doing it and will never do it. Experience brings wisdom, so does pain. To better the ‘badness’ in the world, you have to sacrifice -it’s ok. Don’t spend your whole life waiting for approval. Your are heroes and sheroes didn’t -so neither should you.” 💨💨💨
Not my usual tattoo/music related post.. but please read.. Today I spent $40 on ornaments. "$40? On ornaments?" What some of you are probably thinking. But let me tell you why I spent this on these. A local woman makes these & sells them to cover the expenses of her brain surgeries. I message her & immediately tell her I want them all after reading the reason behind them..& want to give her extra for them. She suffers from Chiari malformation.. They've removed a part of the back of her skull to give her brain room. Her brain has fallen out the bottom of her skull and down into her spinal canal. She suffers at any moment of any day. The brain stops the spinal fluid from reaching our brains causing massive head pain.. "Sometimes we have what we call a good day where we seem fine although there's always an ocean sound in our ears and trying to think or follow what's going on can be hard. To the next min being in such pain I can't open my eyes." Could you imagine? Can you imagine feeling that way almost every single day of your life.. We think it's the end of the world when McDonalds messes up our order & then you meet someone like this.. My heart breaks for people suffering like this. And I know I can't really fix what's going on, but I can help. And bring more awareness. And that's all any of us should ever do for others. Help. I always say be the change you want to see in this world. It takes one. $40 isn't much, but it's something & if we all gave a little more this world would be a better place. PLEASE if you or someone you know enjoys Nightmare Before Christmas, contact her to buy some! I can give you her info! They're only $4 each but feel free to give more🤗My siblings LOVE them! This has taught me to be so much more grateful for the life I get to live. It can be taken from you at any moment..
A mini collection of pics in Germany from my trip in December. The first is from the Berlin Wall panorama by Yadegar Asisi, which served to provide an interactive visual experience of what it was like on each side of the wall during the Cold War. The second, from the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp which served as the administrative center for the German network of camps during Germany's Nazi regime and the site of many gypsy, gay, and Soviet POW murders. The third from the Bebelplatz, or memorial site of the Nazi book burnings in Berlin. Basically all of this serves to remind us that history can and will repeat itself in times where we are led by leaders filled with hate and racism, that true reform comes from learning to coexist peacefully. "If we do not succeed in this, then the next walls will not be long in coming" indeed.
A 4-year-old from Chicago put his toys aside on Saturday and spent his time reading 100 books.
Caleb Green’s parents livestreamed their son’s reading marathon on Facebook as he read each book aloud. Each time he finished a set of 10 books, he celebrated with a dance.
Caleb’s dad, Sylus Green, told ABC affiliate WLS-TV that when he learned about his son’s goal, his “gut reaction [was] to talk him down a little bit but he was like, ‘No, I want to read 100.’”
The family stocked up on books from their own collection as well as from friends’ bookshelves.
“I like to read and I want to read some more like my sister,” Caleb told the local outlet.
Green told HuffPost it took a total of nine hours for Caleb to finish, including a few breaks in between. Nearly 4,000 viewers tuned in to watch his marathon. “We were proud,” Green said. “We are used to Caleb setting goals, but it’s always the ultimate feeling to see the look in your child’s eye when they achieve what they set out to do.” Story by @_tarynitup! #Repost@blackvoices
"Action expresses priorities." ~ Mahātmā Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi(1869–1948) leader of the Indian independence movement against British rule. Employing nonviolent civil disobedience, Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.
How true, indeed! What we exert our attention, energy, and yes, action on, can tell us a great deal about ourselves. Ask yourself: what do you want to do that you are not doing? What actions are you taking that prevent you from attaining your goal? What do you need to stop doing? More importantly, what actions do you need to take to move you closer to your goal? Reflect on how that would look like in your life? See that manifest for yourself.

Water flows under, over, around, and through all obstacles. It can be still and calm, ripple and flow, and carve its way through mountains. Water takes the shape of it confines, and can also break them. It nourishes life, and takes it. Water rises and falls. It can be as solid as concrete, and disappear into thin air. It is adaptable in every situation and in every environment. It is essential for life. Be like water 💦
Although this might be hard for some people to believe, this is one of my favorite stretches, whether it be forward, backward, standing forward fold, anything sandwiching my stomach & legs together...it stretches my legs and back oh so well. 😊
Day 11. This verse is near and dear to my heart. When I was a 17 year old high school graduate, I left home and was taken in by a family that loved me as their own. A family that loved me RIGHT WHERE I WAS AT. The miracle of that act was lost on me for so many years. Now that my own daughters are 14-20, I think of what a courageous, brave and inspired act it was to bring a teenager that was “going, going and almost gone” into their home with two other teenagers. I was taught that I had worth...and then I was taught about worthiness and the love of my Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. I learned that They love me so very much and have a plan for my life. Because of that selfless act of taking in a stranger, my life is forever changed. I have two more siblings than I started out with and was taught about love multiplying and expanding, never dividing or shrinking. Mom and Dad T are in heaven now, but their loving legacy lives on forever and because of them and the example of my birth parents, I am also willing to open up my home to those in need. #LIGHTtheWORLD#HOWwillYOUlightTHEworld#sharingJOY#seekingJOY#theJOYsisters#bethegood#bethechange#25days25ways
🐛 Metamorphosis~~ 🦋the awakened woman is changing, leaving behind the constructs that have bound her! She no longer fit’s into the mould of the cultural status quo, she lives aligned to her unique soul design.
She is creatively on fire and connected to her deeper soul desires. She lives inside the inspirational stream of her creative dreams. She lives a life of passion and purpose, knowing that her imagination is her greatest gift for creating the highest possibilities for her life.
She honours her sexuality as sacred. She no longer needs a lover to complete her, yet shares intimately + deeply from an overflowing place in her heart, and from this place of giving she bonds deeply.
She lives in gratitude and appreciates the beauty that surrounds her and gives thanks daily.
She is emotionally agile, when emotions arise she does not collapse or suppress, but surrenders to the river of Shakti’s love and lets them flow.
She is in touch with her wild woman, courageous, untamed and free.
She is ecstatically awakening her creative potentials, she is limitless, fearless and free.
She knows love is her true power and cultivates her heart as her source. Her inner fire glows golden and radiant like the sun. ☀️🔥 She does not compromise her self to be liked. She loves and accepts herself as she is.
She lives in balance with the masculine and feminine polarities of her being. She lives in peace with men and women, peace with all beings. She honours all life is sacred and walks in beauty, and lives in grace.
My niece Belle (and her parents), for the gosh darn win. As a guy who had a somewhat rough grade school experience, I look forward to telling her how much this means to her uncle... if I can hold myself together long enough to get all the words out (I’m barely making it through this post). #kindnessmatters#bethechange#allthesappyhashtags
One Shake a day keeps my body A-OK 👌🏼 ▫️ I believe that my shakes affect my body in the best possible way when i drink it every day. If I were to drink it every other day, my results would not be as great. If I were to only drink it a couple times a week, my results would be even less. ▫️ I get great results, only because I drink it daily. It's my secret weapon. it wasn't until I had it in my hands and had been guzzling it down for a few days that I realized what a difference it truly made in my life, and I have not looked back. ▫️ It is so powerful, simply because it is a blend of some of the most densely nutritious ingredients that money can buy; to me, its totally worth it. My health and my life is worth it.
I know it’s late, but I promised a transformation so here it is...
Tbh, I was completely disgusted with myself when I looked at these photos. I barely see any progress, I don’t like the way I look, and now I’m wondering why I even try. —
However, I took a step back and asked myself if I did everything I could in 21 days to make changes happen. Guess what the answer is??
I have splurged way too many times, I’ve tried convincing myself that this isn’t that important, etc. What I’m saying is this is MY fault. I hold full responsibility for not pushing myself to limits. —
Am I disappointed? Very.
Am I pretty disgusted with myself? Yup.
But do I see some changes? Yes.
Will I do better next time? Heck yes
We all fall short from time to time.. and this is one of my times. Buuttt here’s my transformation, and I plan on more to come 💓
Hey y’all! Something that has been on my heart lately is remembering what our values are in hard situations and staying true to ourselves. As a human being, (I am sure you can relate), I struggle with how to act in situations that are hard or uncomfortable. We somehow end up in these situations ALL THE TIME. No matter how we got there one of the biggest issues is figuring out what to do once you are there. I am still trying to figure this out and something tells me I always will be, but some things that help me (and may help you) are: 1. Remember people who you look up to, how might they react? (You are inspired by them not copying them. Let’s remember authenticity.) 2. Sometimes we make mistakes, own it. 3. Taking a step back and giving yourself time will 98% of the time give clarity. Now these 3 things are not going to fix your life, but if you feel that they may help, feel free to add them to your “tool belt”. Do you guys have any “tools” for life? I would love to hear them in the comments or DM! -Annika -
When I hear the comment, “don’t forget about us little people.”
No one is a “little people” in my book. We all come from somewhere & we all have something special to offer someone or something. Success & fame is fleeting. People forget that. One thing I’m certain of, no matter what, I’ll never forget where I came from.
To those who have been blinded by fame & are now lost, you’ll find yourself again one day, hopefully when it’s not too late. Fame should be a platform used for a greater good, not to look down on people or make them feel less superior. I see it all the time & it’s unfortunate. Even I’m treated like a piece of shit sometimes. It’s a constant reminder of what never to become.
Nostalgia is much needed in this biz so you can self reflect, especially when you’re someone who has worked your way up from nothing.
I ended up in this industry by destiny. I’ll always be grateful. I’ll always feel blessed. I’ll never take anything for granted because it can disappear quicker than you can say, “OMG, what happened.”
The people who support you, your family, your friends, your fans, make sure to always take time to say thank you. Without them you’re nothing.
AND, if you don’t support & stand up for animals then you’re an idiot.
Today is my birthday and I really hope you will help me find out what @cornellvet and Cornell Feline Health Center really did with Rhoda Hogan's $125,000 bequest that they were awarded in 2008. 🙀
Mrs Hogan wanted it to go to help end declawing.👍🏻
I will let you decide if Cornell honored this poor woman's wishes. 😾
The best birthday present you could give me is to sign and share my petition that’s on the link on my Instagram bio.
Mrs Hogan is turning over in her grave about this and I'm the only one helping her.😿💔
The full story about Mrs Hogan's generous bequest is on the petition. My mom and I worked on the story for months to try to get some answers from Cornell, the NH courts, and Mrs Hogan’s lawyer. #coverup#pleasehelp
Let's get 10,000 signatures by the end of this year! #makeadifference#voiceforthevoiceless#pawsneedclaws#goodcause#cornellvet#cornell#newyork#ny
