I used to avoid them as much as possible. my biggest nightmare in college ball morning workouts. there was a point where doing just one was nearly impossible. just like most things in life, you aren’t going to get any better at these unless you repetitively practice. 
I truly didn’t feel confident in performing them and different variations until after 3 years of consistently adding them into my upper body days. I challenge you to pick your weakest exercise and work on it consistently starting now through the rest of 2018 💪🏼 here are some fun variations to mix up your next upper body workout with:

When you’re older, looking back at those events, experiences, and memories, I hope you remember the laughter, the socializing, the friends, family, and good times, not the “things” during it! Sunday’s are for peanut butter protein pancakes 🥞 🥜 💪  Here is how I made this delicious creation 🙌
1/4 cup oats blended
85g diced butternut squash 
1 whole egg 
2 egg whites
1 scoop @dymatize pb ISO100
1/4 cup almond milk 
Blend all ingredients together and pour over a hot skillet. A caloric deficit is consuming less calories than you  need to maintain your weight. Auch wenn es schwer fällt, nimm dir täglich auch ein paar Minuten Zeit für dich. Zeit zum Reflektieren, Tagebuch schreiben, Meditieren, Sport machen und/oder Lesen. Was auch immer dich mit deinem inneren Selbst in Verbindung bringt. 
Sich selbst zu einer Priorität zu machen, ist nicht egoistisch oder selbstsüchtig.
Es ist gesund.
Nein sagen ist ok.
Ab und an sogar dringend nötig.

Here's a little leg action using the @myplayfit sliders! .
You've seen these in my videos before! I love these sliders because you can bring them anywhere with you & they work great on any surface: carpet, hardwood floors, grass. You name it! .
I trained legs at the gym this morning & included these exercises as a warmup for my leg day. .
The first move is sliding reverse lunges. You can really feel it in your quads & glutes. .
The second move is sliding side Lunges which are great for those inner thighs! .
I completed 3 rounds of 15 repetitions per side for both exercises. You definitely can feel the burn 🔥.

8 months pregnant, spending some gym time with my favorite guy yesterday 👶🏻 I’m grateful for a healthy body that can grow a tiny, perfect human. It’s amazing what our bodies are capable of! This pregnancy has been relatively low key with the exception of morning sickness for the first 20 weeks. I’ve gained 48 lbs so far, with 20-25 as:
-extra blood
-placenta
-amnionic fluid
-uterus (currently the size of a watermelon!)
-and of course, baby!!!

The rest of extra fat 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m excited to share the journey with you as I shed the pregnancy weight during the #250kchallenge while maintaining a healthy caloric intake to breastfeed and navigable the sleepless newborn nights, while being present for our two other boys during the day. I love this post by @syattfitness. First off, if you aren't already following him, go check his account out; he posts a lot of useful info! Now onto the subject at hand...Carbs. trust me, I was one of those people that thought they were the bane of my existence. 2 years ago when I was less knowledgeable, I spent an entire summer biking over 10miles in the heat and lifting daily while eating less than 50g carbs...Yea I was thin and skinny and in my head thought it was working, but it most definitely was not. I basically lost a summer of gains. Now after way more workouts, more hours resesrching, i know i need a lot more carbs in my diet, especially since I have a fast metabolism. I aim for 300g carbs daily. I'm still learning, still trying new things. I'm a small guy at 5'5" so for me to put on serious weight, I would have to eat A LOT all the time and maintain it. realistically I don't have the time or want to do this so that's not my goal right now.

Be free. Keeping following your heart and those dreams” I am ready to move back to LA. Oh but quick life update & some other stuff on my mind:
1. I took this during finals and I felt boujee (I did I rlly just say that? *gasp*) jk I felt good in my skin lol moving on.. ☺️
2. I’ve been working on taking blood pressure manually and it’s more difficult than you would think. All my med peeps out there - did you ever have trouble getting systole but fine with diastole?? Tips welcome!! 👇🏼👩🏼‍⚕️
3. I went out last night and it had been like 1 month since I last drank and had fun *in that manner cus fun is subjective* but ya. Felt good to let lose.. people were like omg grandma sighting! 👵🏼 #dontblamethem. 
4. Congrats to all the recent WWU grads. Love and proud of you all 😘😊

Hit the gym this morning for the first time all week 🤦🏽‍♀️ Finals and then getting sick really took a toll on my routine, but it felt SO good to get back at it!! I have been able to hang on to my guns without hitting the gym for awhile, so I call that a win 💪🏽Goals for this week include hitting it hard everyday! .

Pick a day of the week that works best to set yourself up for success! That day for me is Sunday! I always grocery shop, meal prep, and plan my week on Sundays :: every single week for the past two and a half years. I don’t make excuses to skip it and I make any other plans around it.

On October 24th we all decided to surprise Meg at her first powerlifting meet after she was upset her parents couldn’t go (they were lying and surprising her too lmao). For two months we kept secret after secret and finessed the fuck out of her, Tay & Al all in one weekend. Two months of talking every day and all going through hard times. Two months of knowing these 48 hours were going to make it all better. We’re all over dramatic af, but LEGIT I couldn’t survive without these girls. Thank you guys for everything. They promote extreme caloric restriction  and workout programs. They produce rapid and quick results. Why?

To get testimonials and show dramatic changes. Only problem is, the same people who lose 15-20 lbs in a week are the same ones who put it all right back on. (Yo-yo dieting. Caused from unrealistic conditions and extremes)

It’s not about the quickest way to get results. It’s about finding the best way to SUSTAIN them.

If you can’t sustain your diet or workout program then why the hell did you even start?

Don’t just listen to someone because they have abs and say to do something. QUESTION THE SHIT OUT OF PEOPLE.
