•THE OVERSHARER •
For nearly half of my existance I have been uploading snippets of my life onto the internet. It seems crazy to me now to think about how much of me exists online - and how most of what I chose to digitized was either utter nonsense and unnecessary to upload, or was frankly oversharing to some degree and too personal for just anyone to find.
So I'm starting a fresh chapter here. Today I'm sharing a photograph from when I began my journey of creating online content for ventthreads.uk a few years ago. Little could I of known that it would of led me back to student life and fuelled a love for film photography, art direction and art project management. Although I have privatised a lot of old content from my websites now - those days helped me to form an idea of the voice I had and the work I wanted to make. Even as cringey as it is to look back on what I had posted, it has been so interesting to reflect upon and see growth.
Most of us have been there; reading old facebook statuses/comments and feeling completely disconnected from the person we once were whilst slightly dying inside from embarrassment.
It's definitely a weird one to grow into adulthood with the invention of the internet.
